University of Florida’s star Defensive End, Dante Fowler Jr, has signed with one of the most powerful agencies in sports, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), according to our own Darren Heitner. Fowler will be represented by Jimmy Sexton. This is a major signing for CAA who is moving forward without one of the top agents in football, Ben Dogra.

Dante Fowler Jr is a 6’3, 277 lb Junior that wreaked havoc on offenses throughout his career. Fowler is a projected 1st Rounder by most experts and NFLDraftScout.com lists him as the 14th best available prospect. Fowler had 60 total tackles and 8.5 sacks with three of those sacks coming in the Gators bowl game against East Carolina. He was also named to ESPN’s 2014 All-SEC team.

While CAA lost Ben Dogra, Jimmy Sexton is still one of the biggest agents in football today. Sexton is well known around Gainesville as he represents new head coach Jim McElwain and Gator great Tim Tebow. Sexton represents many of the top coaches in college and pro football such as Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, and Rex Ryan. He gained a lot of notoriety after Sports Illustrated profiled him prior to last year’s BCS National Championship.

I Would love to see him come to chicago. He would be a great replacement for Briggs seeings how we could possibly lose him in the off season. A hes got the quickness and instnct that would mesh well with a 4-3 deffence.
