Per a press release form the company, MP & Silva, a leading international sports marketing agency, specializing in media rights, sponsorship and digital services, has appointed former Traffic Sports director Jochen Lösch as CEO.
Lösch has almost 20 years’ experience in leading executive positions in the international sports industry. An attorney, he spent four years as managing director for Sportfive Americas, before becoming the company’s VP of TV Rights in 2005. Most recently, he was the President of International Business at Traffic Sports Marketing.
At MP & Silva, he will be responsible for setting the company’s vision, values, and business strategy, as well as leading global client relationships. He will also drive growth across all business functions including its media property rights portfolio, and digital, technology and sponsorship services.
MP & Silva is the sports agency behind the creation of the Americas Champions League. It also distributes the Brazilian League, Copa do Brasil, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and 2018 World Cup Qualifiers to broadcasters in Asia and Europe.
