Kentucky’s PJ Washington Goes with Roc Nation

Star Kentucky forward PJ Washington has agreed to sign with Roc Nation Sports, for their representation in this year’s 2019 NBA Draft. Announced on Twitter Monday, he plans on staying in the draft and not coming back for his junior season at Kentucky. This past season, Washington lead the Wildcats to an Elite Eight run as he averaged 15.2 ppg and 7.5 rpg over the course of the year. Originally from Dallas (TX), Washington was a heralded recruit in high school, being named a McDonald’s All-American in 2018 as the #15 ranked player in the nation.

Roc Nation continues to grow their roster of clients for this year’s draft as Washington now joins recently declared Bennie BoatrightKevin Porter JrTyus Battle and Zylan Cheatham. Other former Kentucky Wildcats who are also with Roc Nation include Willie Cauley-Stein and James Young. As the June 20th NBA draft comes closer, Washington projects to be a lottery pick, as mock drafts have him going anywhere from pick 10 to 14.
