Syracuse Guard Tyus Battle Signs with Roc Nation

Syracuse junior guard Tyus Battle has signed with Roc Nation Sports in anticipation for the 2019 NBA draft.

“Blessed to continue my journey and announce that I’ve signed with @rocnationsports in preparation for the NBA Draft. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way – Orange Nation and my entire support system. Locked in!” Battle tweeted Tuesday morning.

Battle dipped his toes into the draft waters last year, but ultimately elected to return to school, where he averaged 17.2 points per game throughout the 2018-19 season, earning Third-Team All-ACC honors. The 6’6″ guard also led Division I in average minutes played with 39.0 throughout the 2017-18 season, averaging 19.2 points per game and earning Second-Team All-ACC honors.

Battle joins a Roc Nation roster that sports Lakers guard Josh Hart, Nets guard Caris LeVert, Raptors guard Danny Green, forward Rudy Gay, center Willie Cauley-Stein and others among its NBA clientele.
