Recently on their Instagram page, Klutch Sports announced its 2021 NFL Draft class after signing seven prospects: Dez Fitzpatrick, Camryn Bynum, Hamilcar Rashed Jr., Alex Leatherwood, Kylin Hill, Quincy Roche, Kellen Mond.
Highlighting this 2021 draft class are Alabama’s offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood and Miami’s outside linebacker Quincy Roche. Both of these players rank in the top 10 by position on Mel Kiper’s Big Board (Leatherwood No.5 among offensive tackles and Roche No. 6 among outside linebackers). Leatherwood is considered a first-round draft pick and Roche is expected to go between the second and third round.
One name to keep an eye on in this group is Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond. During his collegiate career at Texas A&M, Mond broke several program records including career passing yards (9,661), career passing touchdowns (71), completions (801), attempts (1,358) and total offense (11,340), and tied one, career touchdowns (93). This past season, Mond led the Aggies to a 9-1 record and a win over North Carolina in the Orange Bowl. Not to mention, Mond had an impressive performance at the 2021 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama where he was 13 of 25 passing for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns. Mond’s performance earned him Senior Bowl MVP honors and no doubt an increase in his NFL draft stock.
