February 27, 2006 marks the date of John Dewan’s new book: The Fielding Bible. It is supposed to revolutionize the way we view fielding with their new plus/minus system. Perhaps it will have a major impact on baseball scouting like the OPS and Sabrmetric statistics. I also heard that Bill James made contributions to this book. I’ll be picking up my copy once it comes out.
