Nightmare Clients for the Week of July 2nd-July 9th

What's that you're watchin over there?By now, who has not heard about Eddie Griffin? In March, the Minnesota Timberwolves center was arrested for causing a car accident while being intoxicated…and masturbating [Griffin served with civil suit]. Yeah, not such a great thing for the good old image. Those who were injured during this incident would have contacted a car accident lawyer to make sure that he did not get off lightly! And let’s be honest, that is a good thing, make him think twice before doing something so stupid again. It is amazing what some clients will get up to that agents have to sort out as quickly and as quietly as they can do before the newspapers pick it up for the morning headlines. However, in the case of Eddie Griffin, you can’t exactly hide something so idiotic and reckless as that type of behaviour. So without any hesitation, here are your nightmare clients of the week.

1. Eddie Griffin

Leading off is the “right hand man” Eddie Griffin. Deadspin.com has come out with some more specifics about the accident that occurred in March [Eddie Griffin’s Odd Film Choices]. It seems as if Griffin will not be getting out of this battle without enduring more scars to his reputation. The whole incident should be very embarassing to Eddie Griffin, his family, and the Timberwolves. Hopefully his agent and whoever handles his PR will try to avoid having this story develop any further in the future.

2. Todd Sauerbrun

2006 may be coined the year of the supplement with steroids, HGH, and ephedra now even making a comeback in the news. Todd Sauerbrun has just been suspended for the first four regular season games of 2006 for taking ephedra, which is a banned substance by the NFL [Punter Sauerbrun suspended]. Sauerbrun has received fines for being overweight in the past, and will now most likely face a harsher penalty for using an illegal substance to curb his problem. At least this time, Sauerbrun is not in trouble for DUI or using testosterone cream
