When the Bears drafted Miami TE Greg Olsen at the end of the first round, ESPN showed live coverage of Olsen and his family and friends celebrating. I don’t think it was a coincidence that when the camera focused in on Olsen, he threw his arm up and had an unopened bottle of purple vitamin water in his hand. As he was hugging Rosenhaus and his family, he also made sure to put the bottle right in camera view. Coincidence…probably not. Rosenhaus had two first-rounders and made sure he got on TV. A few years ago, he pulled off the ploy of hoodwinking teams into thinking that McGahee was being courted by other teams in the first round. But, it was really just him who was talking with McGahee as he was sitting right next to his client in front of the cameras. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had this planned all along to get his client a little dough in his pocket.
Thoughts?
