All We Want Is One Shining Moment

If the Gators can do it twice, let me do it once.

Round 2 of the Hot Blogger Competition hosted by Ladies… is complete and I have made it easily into the 3rd round. Let me first thank all of the contributors, readers, random guests, and friends for aiding me so far in my attempt to bust the brackets as a 10 seed.

That being said, we cannot stop our drive to take this tournament by surprise now. We must push forward and continue to shock the world round by round. Call us out; call shenanigans on this website for getting over 2200 votes in only a couple of days. There are no bots involved (I have no clue on how to create one, but thanks for the credit) and all votes are legit.

So who do we focus on now? Obviously we have to win round by round, and that starts with beating SMQ of Sunday Morning Quarterback in this 3rd round of competition. I am still calling out Paul Shirley of ESPN.com…because it is fun and I’ll do what I want! The end goal is winning this baby, but I would definitely enjoy a Finals match up against Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Blog. His site gets thousands upon thousands of hits per day, he just knocked out heavy favorite Will Leitch of Deadspin.com.

Matt Jones is serious competition here, and sports are all about competition. Let’s not forget that Matt runs a site dedicated to Kentucky sports, which tears my heart apart. As a University of Florida graduate and starting law school at UF in the Fall, I would love nothing more than to have one more SEC Championship bout between UF (Darren) and Kentucky (Matt Jones). As much as I hate Kentucky, I am rooting for the Kentucky Sports Blog to make it to the finals (hopefully up against myself).

Comrades, it is easy enough to vote. Click on the circle for Darren at the top right of the page and then click vote. Do this as much as possible until voting for this round closes. Hopefully we will announce another victory in a few days. Viva I Want to be a Sports Agent!
