It seems like besides representing a few notable individual-sport athletes like Tiger Woods, most former IMG team-sport clients and their agents have moved from cold Cleveland to sunny California and joined the ranks of the always growing Creative Artists Agency. CAA’s latest IMG pick-up is Bob Kain, a former IMG President & CEO. His new position with CAA sounds ultra-important: Strategic Advisor of CAA Sports. CAA employees must start to feel like they are on the cast of Cheers. CAA, where everybody knows your name.

Do we even consider IMG an agency anymore? Do they have any mainstream clients left? Everyone has left them.
IMG has turned to many other types of sports ventures. Their main focus is no longer in the world of sports agentry; however, they still have some of the biggest names in individual sports like tennis and golf.
