The Dog Blog

This post begins a new era:  The Dog Blog.  I am happy to announce that America’s Finest of Farmington, India has successfully bought sportsagentblog.com from owner Darren Heitner.  While negotiations have been ongoing for months, what has been a dream for many years has finally become a reality.  A high profile blog devoted entirely to dog racing.  From posts about the dog of the future to investigative reporting involving doggy doping, this blog will have it all.  In addition to covering dog racing, this blog will also go behind the scenes of various high profile dog shows such as Eukanuba and of course Westminster.

While many of you will be sad to see sportsagentblog.com go, the Dog Blog will keep many of the same features as sportsagentblog.com.  For instance, the blog will feature an Interview with the Dog Trainer segment where we interview high profile trainers in hopes of gaining valuable insight into the world of greyhound racing.  We will also have an internship tab much like the old blog where would be dog trainers can find information regarding the hottest dog racing internships.

The blog will also feature new sections devoted to investigative reporting on such things as puppy mills and the use of steroids in racing dogs.  It is our hope to be the leading source of information on dog racing and related topics.

We also hope to use this blog as a way to promote the rising industry of dog agents.  Much like an athlete agent, a dog agent will help top racing dogs obtain sponsorships with such highly reputable companies as Kibbles N Bits, Beggin Strips, and of course Petco.

The Dog Blog hopes to retain as many readers as sportsagentblog.com and will always be open to new suggestions.  Please be understanding with the site as over the next couple days we will be attempting to be best transition from the old site to our new one.
