Missouri’s KOMU-TV Sports Reporter, Ashley Zavala, reported that Missouri defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson has committed to Ben Dogra of Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

While the only Missouri player drafted this past year (Michael Egnew, TE – #78 overall to the Miami Dolphins) is represented by Andy Ross of Octagon, Richardson is not the sole former Mizzou player to sign with Dogra.  He also represents Aldon Smith (OLB, San Francisco 49ers), the #7 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, and Jeremy Maclin (WR, Philadelphia Eagles).  Further, CAA represents the #10 overall pick from the 2011 NFL Draft – QB Blaine Gabbert.  Richardson will follow a similar path as former high picks out of Missouri, and be represented by Ben Dogra and CAA.

NFLDraftScout.com currently ranks Richardson as the #3 defensive tackle available in the 2013 Draft, the 15th overall prospect, and a projected first round draft pick.  In 2012, he was named first team All-SEC by the media.  He finished his final season with 10.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks.
