A day after South Carolina defense end Jadeveon Clowney declared for the 2014 NFL Draft, the Rock Hill, South Carolina native is reported to have signed with BC Sports and agent, Bus Cook, according to Inside The League.

In his breakout sophomore season, Clowney grabbed a team-record 13.5 sacks along with 23.5 tackles for loss, earning himself unanimous All-American honors and a sixth-place finish in Heisman voting.  Clowney finished his college career with 132 tackles and 24 sacks.  NFLDraftScout.com lists him as the No. 2 available prospect for the upcoming draft.

Clowney is arguably best known for his vicious hit on Michigan’s Vincent Smith in the Gamecocks’ win over the Wolverines in the 2013 Outback Bowl.

BC Sports represents a number of well-known NFL players including the Detroit Lions Calvin Johnson, Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson, and the Chicago Bears Jay Cutler.  The Mississippi-based agency, per Rand Getlin of Yahoo! Sports, is attempting to bolster its client roster in order to potentially sell its business.  Adding Clowney and a few other high-profile prospects will certainly do just that.
