Dallas-based Willis and Woy Sports Group tapped into nearby Austin, Texas for one of its most recent signings. University of Texas defensive end and 2013 consensus All-American, Jackson Jeffcoat, signed with NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, Jordan Woy.
“I’ve followed Jackson from high school through college,” Woy said. “He is an excellent athlete, player, and team leader. He is smart and makes plays in big games.”
Jeffcoat finished 2013 with 82 tackles, 13 sacks, and two forced fumbles. NFLDraftScout.com ranks Jeffcoat as the No. 8 defensive end in this year’s Draft while SBNation.com has the Plano, Texas native at No. 6. Jeffcoat is projected to be drafted in the second or third round in May.
In 2013, he was named Big 12 co-Defensive Player of the Year and also won the Ted Hendricks Award, an annual award given to the top defensive end in college football. Jeffcoat will be training at Ignition in Ohio, according to Woy.
