MDR Sports Management Aggressively Grows Its Latin American Client Base To 71 Baseball Players

MDR Sports Management, a full-service sports management firm representing baseball player with a specialization in Latin American players, has signed a seven new baseball players as clients in the past six months.  The addition of those seven players means that MDR’s current client base has reached a total of seventy-one players under contract with the company.  MDR’s focus remains the Latin American market, and the company appears to be achieving its goals of rapid expansion in the region.

The newly added players include Puerto Ricans Carlos Corporan, a MLB backup catcher for the Houston Astros, Eddie Rosario, outfielder and top minor league prospect for the Minnesota Twins, and Noel Cuevas, outfielder and minor league prospect for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

MDR has also added a couple of Dominican Republic ballplayers in Tony Cruz, a MLB catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and Erik Gonzalez, shortstop and top prospect for the Cleveland Indians who was added to the 40-man roster in November.

Finally, Venezuelans Rafael Ortega, 40-man roster outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals and Miguel Sulbaran, a left hand pitcher and minor league prospect for the Minnesota Twins, have decided to become MDR clients as well.

Darren’s passion for sports law led him to establish Sports Agent Blog on December 31, 2005, initially titled “I Want To Be A Sports Agent.” The platform, created as a New Year’s resolution, has grown into a cornerstone of the sports agency community, offering in-depth analysis of industry trends, legal disputes, and agent-player dynamics.
