Shaq Thompson, the two-way player from the University of Washington, has selected agents Doug Hendrickson and CJ Laboy of Relativity Sports, according to SportsBusiness Journal’s Liz Mullen. The Paul Hornung award winner will forego his senior season to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.
Thompson, who played both linebacker and running back this season, was an AP All-American and is considered by most analysts a top 20 pick. Thompson had 81 tackles and four defensive touchdowns this season at linebacker. At running back, he rushed for over 100 yards in both of his starts and ended the season with 456 rushing yards and 2 TD’s. NFLDraftScout.com lists Thompson as the 10th best available prospect.
According to Relativity’s website, Doug Hendrickson has been an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor since 1999 and was the former Senior Client Director at Octagon Football before joining Relativity. CJ Laboy,also came to Relativity from Octagon Football where he was a Senior Client Manager.
