Michael Beck and Marc Rosenberg, both 3L students and co-founders of the Cardozo Sports Law Society two years ago, have planned and coordinated each of the first three Cardozo Sports Law Symposiums. There will be four panels and a networking lunch. The panels are titled: Judge, Jury and Executioner: Internal Investigations in Sports; Living the Dream: Buying, Selling, and Evaluating Sports Franchises; Major League, Back to the Minors: Exploring the World of Minor League Sports; and Athlete’s Rights in Evolving Sports Media..
Panelists include: Charles Grantham (Former Executive Director of the NBPA), Chuck Baker (Partner, Media , Sports and Entertainment Group at DLA Piper), Oliver Manigat (Legal Counsel at MLS), and Jason Belzer (Founder and President of Global Athlete Management Enterprises (GAME)).
