Per a tweet by Liz Mullen of SBJ, rising American tennis star Jack Sock has signed with WME|IMG for worldwide marketing and management representation. He was previously represented by CAA Sports.
The 22-year-old is the latest signing for WME|IMG’s tennis division and joins the likes of Petra Kvitova, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, and other rising stars Eugenie Bouchard and Nick Kyrgios who have all signed in the last year. The agency also represents Venus and Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, and David Ferrer, among others.
Sock is currently ranked No. 31 in the world and is endorsed by Adidas and Babolat, a French tennis, badminton and squash equipment company.
At WME|IMG, he will be represented by senior vice president of IMG Tennis, Max Eisenbud. Eisenbud is the long-time agent of Maria Sharapova, the world’s highest-paid female athlete. Sock is the first male tennis player inside the top 50 to be represented at IMG Tennis by Eisenbud.
