NFL Agent, Tory Dandy, Joins CAA Sports

Per Liz Mullen, NFL agent Tory Dandy has joined CAA Sports’ NFL Division. He was previously working for Independent Sports and Entertainment, formerly Relativity Sports, where he worked with famed agent and the late Eugene Parker.

The former college football player turned NFL agent began his post-playing career in the sports industry at Synergy Sports in 2004, before joining Parker at Maximum Sports as the director of recruiting in 2006. He was certified as an agent by the NFL Players Association in 2013. ISE has been undergoing some changes as of late, most notably rebranding themselves from Relativity Sports, and Dandy’s departure came when his contract with the agency had expired. The parting was amicable with ISE Football co-president, Doug Hendrickson, saying “We wish him well.”

Dandy is based out of Charlotte, NC, and will continue to work from there under his agreement with CAA Sports. The details of his agreement with the agency are not yet known. It is also not known what clients will follow Dandy to his new agency, but it is common for players to stay with the agent with whom they have the closest relationship.

Some notable Dandy-represented clients include Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins and rookie defensive end Shaq Lawson, the No. 19 pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
