Roc Nation Sports Signs Rudy Gay And Ty Lawson

Per a press release from Berk Communications, Roc Nation Sports announced the signing of Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay and guard Ty Lawson.

The 8th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft out of UConn, Rudy Gay is currently in his 11th NBA season. With previous stints in Memphis and Toronto, Gay is in his fourth season with the Kings. Gay earned all-rookie honors during the 2006-07 season, and boasts a career average of 18.4 points per game.

A member of the 2009 UNC national championship team and former Bob Cousy Award winner, Ty Lawson was selected 18th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft. Following six successful seasons in Denver and a split season with Houston and Indiana, Lawson signed with the Sacramento Kings in August of 2016. Lawson carries a career average of 12.8 points and 6.1 assists per game.

Gay and Lawson join a Roc Nation Sports basketball family that now consists of 11 athletes, including Caris LeVert, Henry Ellenson, James Young, Justise Winslow, Kevin Durant, Michael Gbinije, Skylar Diggins, Willie Cauley-Stein and Wilson Chandler.
