Per a press release from Berk Communications, today, Roc Nation Sports announced the signing of Chicago Bears linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski.
A former first-team all-Big 12 honoree from West Virginia, Kwiatkoski was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the 113th overall pick in the 4th round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Kwiatkoski started in seven games throughout his rookie campaign and thrived in the final six games of the season, recording 29 of his season-total 32 tackles.
While at West Virginia, Kwiatkoski produced for three straight seasons for the Mountaineers’ defense totaling 275 tackles. During the 2012 season, he was named Second-Team All-Big 12 by Phil Steele; he also finished sixth in the Big 12 & 30th in the nation in solo tackles with 54, ranking 5th in the conference in total tackles. In 2014, he recorded a team-leading 103 tackles and in solo tackles with 71; led the team in tackles-for-loss with 11.5. Kwiatkoski ended the 2014 season ranking 5th in the Big 12 in solo tackles, tied for 9th in the Big 12 in total tackles and for 12th in the conference in tackles-for-loss. During his senior year, he recorded 86 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, three interceptions and one forced fumble for the Mountaineers.
Kwiatkoski joins a Roc Nation Sports football family that now consists of 13 athletes, including CJ Prosise, Dez Bryant, Geno Smith, Isaac Rochell, Jaelen Strong, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Leonard Fournette, Melvin Ingram, Ndamukong Suh, Ronnie Stanley, Todd Gurley and Victor Cruz.
