Dominic Curran Named Executive VP Of Lagardère Plus

After spending 16 years at Synergy Sponsorship and another five at Engine, both of which are London-based, Dominic Curran is heading to New York to become the Executive Vice President for Lagardère Plus. Curran’s presence will have an immediate impact, as he targets client management, along with an urge in promoting the agency’s growth on a domestic level.

Ken Egan, current Lagardère Plus President-America, states that: “Dominic’s insights and experience are key additions to Lagardère Plus and we are thrilled to have him join the team. He believes in the power of sports and entertainment to influence and shape consumer behavior towards brands, which is central to the Plus mission.”

Dominic Curran’s career journey started with managing press and promotions for the Lawn Tennis Association in 1997. Two years later, Curran landed a spot at Synergy in London as Managing Director. In this role he curated campaigns for clients, such as Emirates and BMW. Curran  then assumed a similar role with Engine,  becoming a Client Managing Director, overseeing brands like Unilever and Sky.

While this executive-level position may be daunting for most, especially at a a global agency,  it’s nothing new to Curran. Nonetheless, it’s an opportunistic win-win for a veteran of client management to apply his vast knowledge and experience to the role and for Lagardère to broaden its audience within the U.S. market.
