According to a Tweet from the agency, New York Knicks guard Trey Burke has signed with Roc Nation Sports, where he will be represented by Sam Permut. He was previously represented by Mike George of Excel Sports Management.
The former 9th overall pick by the Utah Jazz in the 2013 NBA Draft out of Michigan, Burke has bounced around a few teams and even had a stint in the then-D League in his professional career. Thus far in the 2018-19 NBA season, the former All-American and Naismith College Player of the Year while at Michigan is averaging 13.3 points, 3.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game for the Knicks.
Now in his sixth NBA season, with his third team (Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards, and New York Knicks), Burke is in the last year of his contract with the Knicks and will be an unrestricted free agent next summer. In signing with Roc Nation, he joins a growing roster of basketball players, including former Michigan teammate and cross-town opponent, Caris LeVert of the Brooklyn Nets.
