In his new role as president of CAA’s sports division, Danforth will be responsible for CAA Sports’ property sales and brand consulting division. He will oversee 250 employees in the United States, London and Munich. He will work closely with CAA co-Heads Howard Nuchow and Michael Levine.
Danforth’s division represents properties including Formula One, Madison Square Garden and the NCAA. On the brand consulting side, Danforth will work with clients such as Google, JP Morgan Chase and Pizza Hut.
Danforth spent 13 years with the New York Mets as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Service before joining CAA in 2007.
