Indiana guard Devonté Green announced via social media that he will be pursuing the NBA and signed with Roc Nation Sports for representation. Green who scored 954 points during his tenure with the Hoosiers, stated that he will begin his preparation for the 2020 NBA Draft.
The signing does not come as a surprise as Green’s older brother, Danny Green of the Los Angeles Lakers is also represented by Roc Nation.
The 6’3 guard finished the season averaging 10.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Green is not on the major site’s draft boards, but is expected to get an opportunity to earn a spot due to his shooting capabilities.
Currently the Draft Lottery and Draft Combine has been postponed indefinitely, as officials look to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
