Life Sports Agency has signed freshman Joshua Primo from University of Alabama to their client roster. He will be represented by Todd Ramasar, who is NCAA Certified, as he tests the waters of the NBA Draft process with the option for a possible return to Alabama next season. Ramasar also will be representing Eugene Omoruyi, and co-representing Yves Pons.
The 6’6″, 190-pound guard is from Toronto, Ontario, where he attended high school at Royal Crown Academic School. During his freshman year at Alabama, Primo received the following accolades: SEC All-Freshman Team and SEC Freshman of the Week (Jan 25). He became the 5th Consecutive Alabama rookie to be named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. Primo ranked third on the team in three-point field goal percentage, second in free throw percentage and fifth in scoring. During the season, he finished with 12 games in double figures including eight games of making three or more three-pointers which ranked second-best on the team.
Prior to attending University of Alabama, Primo was rated as a five-star prospect, the number 19 overall player and the number 5 overall combo guard in the 2020 Class by 247Sports.com. He was the youngest player invited to the Canadian National Team for the 2019 FIBA U-19 World Cup, where he was teammates with Charles Bediako.
