I recently had the pleasure to serve as Moderator for a panel of Agents at UF’s Law’s Inaugural Sports Symposium. The panel consisted of Alliance Sports Management’s CEO, Glenn Schwartzman, NFLPA agent, Kristine Rosendahl, and current commissioner of the UFL and former CEO of Axcess Sports & Entertainment, Michael Huyghue. All three were excellent speakers and shed light into some of the positives and negatives about the industry.
Michael Huyghue, in particular, offered great insight into some of the troubling aspects of being an agent. He definitely knows what it feels like to be put in a bad position because one of your clients decides to make it rain. That’s right, Huyghue used to represent none other than Adam Pacman Jones. I bet he does not miss being an agent when he looks back to the days of hearing his client’s name appear in newspaper after newspaper for all the wrong reasons.
Surprisingly, though, a few people who had to defend Pacman during his rendezvous with the Las Vegas All Star incident will now act as his official agents. Worrick Robinson and the oft quoted, Manny Arora, will take over the duty of making nice with the Titans after Pacman is reinstated into the NFL. Good luck, boys!

Word is that Huyghue told Pacman to build his own strip club in his house, but Pacman refused to listen to him.
Yeah right…and last week LeBron James asked me to be his agent, but I told him he was not good enough to be my client…
