On To The Next One: Anthony Davis, Trent Williams, And Quentin Groves

Still want to be an NFL agent, right?  Move as far away from Florida as imaginable and make sure to provide your client the least amount of publicity as possible, or else risk losing him to Drew Rosenhaus.  All kidding aside, minus the costs (time and money), shady business, and sleepless nights involved, are you prepared to work day and night with the hope that you keep your clients past their first contracts?  Good luck.

But on to the next one we go.  Speaking of Rosenhaus, he has two new names to add to his always growing list of clients.  They are Quentin Groves of the Oakland Raiders, who was formerly represented by Impact Sports, and 2010 first rounder, Anthony Davis, who was formerly represented by Sunny Shaw.  Mike Florio points out that this is the 3rd 2010 draft pick to change agents, and for Sunny, half of his client stable is gone, leaving Eugene Monroe as his only client.  Jared Odrick is another 2010 draft pick that changed agents earlier this year, also going to Rosenhaus.

The other 2010 1st rounder to make a switch was Trent Williams, who replaced Eugene Parker with Tom Condon and Ben Dogra of CAA.

Must be a terrible feeling for an agent to lose one of his top clients. Do the athletes ever give reasons for leaving their agents?

Interestingly, Trent Williams re-hired Vince Taylor of Loyalty Sports to co-represent him with Ben Dogra of CAA. Odd man out = Eugene Parker of Maximum Sports.
