I was on my way to the library half an hour ago when I get a text from one of my buddies saying, “U da man.” I figured he was just pumping me up for my Civil Procedure Final Exam that is scheduled to begin in an hour. I gave him a call just to make sure. He answers, “What’s up famous guy.” I got really confused. “You are on the front page of the Gainesville Sun.” Oh, no. I am not important enough to get featured because of a stupid fall and a subsequent concussion. Is this really happening?
I ran to the nearest newspaper bin and lo and behold, the front page of Gainesville, Florida’s main newspaper has my picture on the cover. But instead of it being about my unfortunate concussion, the title reads, “Living large at UF.” What??? I totally forgot that about a year ago, a journalist followed myself and some of my friends on one of our nights out on the town. It’s a pretty hilarious read.
