The following internship opportunity was not posted on our Internships page, because it is not technically a sports agency internship being offered. Instead, it is a law firm looking for a sports intern. The intern may have similar duties as someone who is participating in a sports agency, however. As a final note, before I post the information, if you are the owner or an employee of a sports agency and you do not see your internship opportunity posted on our page, please feel free to send over your company’s internship information and we will post it up free of charge. As for the topic of this post..
The Law Office of Jaia Thomas, a sports and entertainment law practice, seeks a sports intern. Intern must be extremely knowledgeable about the NFL and NBA. Prospective intern must also heavily follow college football and basketball. Intern responsibilities include:
- Attending college and professional sporting events
- Obtaining and reporting player statistics
- Drafting summaries on players
- Researching NCAA violations
While the offices are based in New York and Washington DC, the firm will be accepting resumes from throughout the United States. Interns are permitted to work remotely.
