My take
I have had Marcell as my highest rated defensive tackle since day one. His body of work is stronger then Nick Fairley’s and I’ll explain why exactly. As a player, Dareus has the makings of a huge, quick, disruptive force on the next level. At 6’3” 319, Marcell can play the 3-4 end spot or 4-3 defensive tackle spot with equal effectiveness. He has extremely violent, quick hands that enable him to shed blocks with ease. With his ideal NFL body and excellent athleticism and lateral quickness, he can give offensive lineman fits. He should be a fixture in offensive backfields and be a starting player for a long time in the NFL. Needs to really work on his conditioning. I like that he has a wide base and a bigger lower body then Fairley. Possesses an array of pass rush moves and is a stout run defender.
