Former University of Miami wide receiver Aldarius Johnson could have had a big 2011 season had he been eligible to play. However, Johnson remained away from the field of play based on allegations that he received benefits from former University of Miami booster and ponzi schemer Nevin Shapiro. To make matters worse, Johnson sent a Tweet asking for the name of the best strip club in Miami. The university suspended Johnson indefinitely for that action.
NFLDraftScout.com currently lists Johnson as the 90th wide receiver out of 333 in the 2012 NFL Draft class, with a draft stock that is going down. But not all hope is lost on the wide receiver. Carlos Rodriguez (@MAC_SportsAgent on Twitter) of Majestic Agents & Consultants (MAC) in Miami, Florida is willing to take a chance that Johnson will impress NFL scouts at the University of Miami’s Pro Day, which he has been granted permission to attend as long as he graduates.
Interesting note – former University of Miami defensive back Mike Rumph is a part of the team at MAC.
