Nightmare Clients of the Week

Nightmare Clients for the Week of August 6th-August 13th

Is that a chicken wing?If you didn’t know…now you know. Maurice Clarett got himself in the news a little bit this week.

1. Maurice Clarett found himself in a highway chase on Wednesday, which ended up with him being maced by police and being caught with four loaded guns in his car [Clarett Maced by police, arrested after chase]. Apparently, Clarett felt that the four loaded guns was not enough, and included a hatchet and an open bottle of Grey Goose…no Grey Goose if you don’t get loose [This Could End Up Affecting The Eastern Indoor Football League Opener]. His bond is only at $5 million…and surprise surprise, Clarett’s attorney said he mostly likely would not be able to post it [Clarett bond set at $5 million]. Last question: why was Clarett wearing a bulletproof vest…and why was he found near the house of the person who is going to be testifying against him in a court case for another issue? [The Rise and Fall of Maurice Clarett].

2. Jeff Allison of the Florida Marlins did all that he could to take some limelight away from Clarett without much success. Still, my heart goes out to Allison, who at one time was regarded as one of the top prospects in the Marlins’ farm system. This past monday, Jeff Allison suffered a heroin overdose…on July 2004, he nearly died from overdosing on heroin [Ex-Marlins top pick recovering after 2nd heroid OD].

3. Keith Hamilton, who used to be a DT for the New York football Giants disciplines his children by beating them with a surge protector…probably not for the next 3 years, though, while he is on probation [Keith Hamilton Swings A Mean Surge Protector].

Know a story about a player/coach/broadcaster etc. who had a major slip-up? Send it over to heitner@gmail.com, and it may appear in the next Nightmare Clients for the Week. We take stories about good things that people do as well!
