Round 1
1. Indianapolis – Andrew Luck (QB – Stanford) – Agent: Will Wilson (Wasserman Media Group) – Earlier this year, Wasserman Media Group hired Andrew Luck’s uncle and NFLPA-certified advisor Will Wilson. Luck is the first NFL player that the company has ever represented for the purpose of negotiating team contracts.
2. Washington – Robert Griffin III (QB – Baylor) – Agent: Ben Dogra (Creative Artists Agency) – RG III and his family did their due diligence when it came to selecting an agency. Reports stated that they met with at least five agencies and involved Baylor’s compliance department in the process.
3. Cleveland – from Minnesota – Trent Richardson (RB – Alabama) – Agent: Jimmy Sexton/Ben Dogra (Creative Artists Agency) – Jimmy Sexton also represents Richardson’s college coach, Nick Saban.
4. Minnesota – Matt Kalil (OT – USC) – Agent: Tom Condon/Ben Dogra (Creative Artists Agency) – CAA represents 3 of the first 4 picks in this Draft. Quite an accomplishment for a company that dominates the Draft year after year.

6. Dallas – Morris Claiborne (CB – LSU) – Agent: Bus Cook – Representing athletes from the southeast is nothing new for Cook. Last year, his name was on the Standard Representation Agreement for six players selected in the Draft (four from Mississippi State, one from Ole Miss, and Cam Newton – #1 overall pick from Auburn).
7. Tampa Bay – Mark Barron (S – Alabama) – Agent: Creative Artists Agency – CAA with 4 players selected in the first 7 picks.
8. Miami – Ryan Tannehill (QB – Texas A&M) – Agent: Pat Dye, Jr. (SportsTrust Advisors) – Dye was formerly teamed up with Jimmy Sexton (who is now with Creative Artists Agency). Dye continues to operate SportsTrust Advisors.
9. Carolina – Luke Kuechly (ILB – Boston College) – Agent: Tom Condon/Ben Dogra (Creative Artists Agency) – 5 of first 9 picks for CAA. Enough said.

11. Kansas City – Dontari Poe (DT – Memphis) – Agent: Jimmy Sexton (Creative Artists Agency) – 6 of first 11 picks for CAA. Quick plug for Collegiate Sports Advisors, which set up Memphis’ Professional Sports Counseling Panel in 2012 and informed Poe and his family about the NFL’s College Advisory Committee.
