GERARD HARAN NOW A WILD THING
Haran was traded from the Atlantic League Newark Bears to the Frontier League Washington Wild Things

GAINESVILLE, FL – August 5, 2008, Gerard Haran’s journey remains anything but dull.  Gerard has played in the Golden Baseball League, MLB with the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlantic League, and now embarks on a trip in the Frontier League.  The Washington Wild Things expressed interest in acquiring Gerard Haran for his offensive skill and made a deal with the Newark Bears to gain Haran’s services for the remainder of this season..

Gerard will be a daily starter, playing either Catcher, First Base, or Designated Hitter.  While Gerard is excited in his new, increased role with an excellent organization, he is thankful for the opportunity that the Newark Bears provided him and has nothing but great things to say about both the team and the players who make up the organization.  Dynasty also thanks the Newark Bears for everything; they truly are a stellar organization and will without a doubt continue to be successful for years to come.

We will keep you updated on his journey and report any new stories straight from the Washington Wild Things!
