Gerard Haran

The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, let a much-needed win slip away in game two of their series against the division-leading Kalamazoo Kings.  They ended up losing the game 7-5 loss on Wednesday.  Washington took the early lead but slowly let it slip away until they finally lost the lead in the 7th inning.

Robert Lara

The AZL Padres lost to the AZL Royals Wednesday with a score of 5-3.  Lara was able to help by scoring a run, but it was not enough in the end.

Dan Leatherman

Dan did not play as the Suns had a double-header Wednesday due to the rain from Tuesday.  Both games were shortened and only 7 innings in length.

Kyle Gunderson

Only a day after Kyle Gunderson joined the Dynasty family, he gets the notice everyone’s playing for saying he is getting called up.  This is a great opportunity for Kyle as he has excelled with the Suns with a sub 3 ERA and his opponents posting a mere .184 batting average.  Gunderson is on his way to Potomac to play for the High A team.

what does 7th round pick adam zorne who signed for 100+k mean for lara’s playing time the rest of the season.

is lara going to instructional league in september?

thanks

wally

Lara was used in the DH position last night. It remains to be seen how he will be used the rest of the season. And yes, at this point, Lara will be going to instructional league.

With all the talk about how great haran is it appears his true colors are showing and his .217 average is evident of this. This goes to show everyone that hitting a homerun and batting .400 over your first 2 games means nothing. what will this mean for his future? do MLB teams still show interest? What will it take for him to show professional teams he is ready to go to the next level since hes struggling in an independent league? Wally check your yahoo email by the way.

You’re right about the sample I made a mistake, not .217 it should have been .192
