Quarterback Zac Dysert leaves Miami Ohio as the only player at the school to be captain three times throughout his collegiate career.  He did not waste a moment of his time at Miami.  Dysert finished with 12,016 yards passing, which places him in third all-time for yards passing in the MAC and twentieth all-time in NCAA history.

Dysert is now on to the next level and will have Mike McCartney of Priority Sports & Entertainment represent him going forward.  The first step of that voyage will be in Bradenton, Florida, home of IMG Academies, where Dysert will train leading up to his Pro Day and the NFL Combine.

Last year, Priority Sports represented one quarterback in the NFL Draft – Kirk Cousins from Michigan State, who was selected #102 overall by the Washington Redskins, and has proven to be a smart pick based on his performance this year while Robert Griffin III has been briefly sidelined.  In 2011, the company did not represent any drafted quarterbacks.  In 2010, they were the agents of Michael Kafka, who was selected #122 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles.

It is likely that Dysert will be Priority Sports’ one and only quarterback client for the 2013 NFL Draft.  NFLDraftScout.com currently ranks him as the eighth best quarterback in his class.
