Football Agent Martin Fischman Scores Early Signing With Southeast Louisiana CB Todd Washington

It is signing season.  Well, it is just the early stages of signing season, when upperclassmen who have no opportunity to play in a Bowl Game will begin to make their agent selection decisions.  A few signings have been trickling in as of late, with perhaps the most notable one being made by an individual who used to work with me when I ran Dynasty Athlete Representation (a now-defunct sports agency).

NFLPA Contract Advisor Martin Fischman has notified Sports Agent Blog that he has signed cornerback Todd Washington from Southeast Louisiana.  The small school 5’11 cornerback was named to the 2013 preseason All-Southland Conference Second Team and was one-of-eleven Southeast Louisiana to earn an All-Southland Honorable Mention selection at the end of the season.  Washington helped lead his team to its first ever Southland Conference championship.

NFLDraftScout.com ranks Washington as the No. 34 best cornerback available in the 2014 NFL Draft and Steve Shoup of FanSpeak.com gives Washington the No. 30 position on his ranking.

Martin Fischman is a New Orleans, Louisiana-based football agent at Pro Sports, Inc., which was founded in 1963 and claims to be the longest active NFL Representation Firm.  Its managing partner is Harry Henderson, who like Fischman is an attorney in Louisiana.
