Top-rated wide receiver, Mike Evans, recently declared for the 2014 NFL Draft. Late Tuesday night, the former Texas A&M Aggie signed with Chicago-based Priority Sports. According to Yahoo’s Rand Getlin, NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor Deryk Gilmore will represent Evans.
“We are excited to have Mike Evans with the Priority Sports family,” Gilmore confirmed to Sports Agent Blog Tuesday night. “Mike is a big, physical, imposing receiver who can go up and get the ball and make yards after the catch. A student of the game and his determination to be great is what will make him a Pro Bowl receiver. Teams will love him because he loves football.”
Despite playing just two seasons in College Station, Texas, Evans finished in the school’s all-time top-five in receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns. In 2013, Evans grabbed 69 receptions for 1,394 yards and 12 touchdowns. Additionally, he recorded the single-game school record for receiving yards with 287 against Auburn on October 19.
NFLDraftScout.com ranks Evans as the No. 2 available wide receiver in the 2014 NFL Draft, only behind Clemson’s Sammy Watkins. The Galveston, Texas native is a projected first round selection.

You might want to change your headline for the sake of accuracy. There is no such thing as an “Ex-Aggie” ; we call them former students.
