Shabbat Shalom: Friday Wrap-up (9/5/2014)

Golden State Warriors general manager (and former agent) Bob Myers is earning his praise in his fairly new role.
Golden State Warriors general manager (and former agent) Bob Myers.

Happy NFL regular season.  Fantasy football is in full swing, and with my father texting me to ask whether it is safe for him to deposit money into DraftKings, I am now positive that daily fantasy sports is here to stay.  I will be in attendance at the Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots game this Sunday where it is rather likely that the Dolphins start off strong and maybe even win the game.  They usually start off well.  The rest of the season tends to be a nightmare.  This week on FORBES: (1) Kenny Hill Could Be A Pleasant Surprise For Texas A&M On And Off The Field; (2) Football Player Seeks $5 Million From NCAA And Portland State For Concussion-Related Damages; (3) FanDuel Adds $70 Million In Funding Following DraftKings $41 Million Raise; (4) Seattle Seahawks Start Season Leading NFL In Ticket Price Per Home Game; (5) Buffalo Bills Running Back C.J. Spiller Signs With New Representation; (6) Kevin Durant Earns Equity Interest In Oklahoma City-Based Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt; (7) Seattle Seahawks, Shaun Alexander And Delta Team Up To Fly 12th Man To A Few Road Games.

And as always, the weekly wrap-up:
