The lovely holiday of Rosh Hashanah is behind us and now we must brace for Yom Kippur. I wish all observing Yom Kippur an easy fast.  The Republican debate on CNN has become a fun excuse to gather for part of my family.  Between that and the NFL, my attention outside of Heitner Legal has been completely captured for the week.  Speaking of football, fantasy has completely taken over.  Not only are the advertisements constantly in our face, but my girlfriend will not stop talking about her fantasy team and begging me to play daily/weekly games with her.  I guess it is better than the alternative — begging me to sit down and watch shows on Bravo.  Perhaps she inspired me to start building out a new website: Fantasy.Lawyer.  Head over to my Forbes column to read about some in-depth #SportsBiz stories, and here are some other sports agent/business stories we may have missed over the past week:

His commitment to the field is further evidenced by his representation of numerous athletes and sports agents, as well as his prior role as an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University Bloomington, where he developed and taught a course on Sport Agency Management from 2011 to 2014.

Darren’s contributions have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the University of Florida’s 40 Under 40 Award, the University of Florida Levin College of Law’s Outstanding Young Alumnus Award, and designation as the best lawyer in Fort Lauderdale by Fort Lauderdale Magazine.
