This year’s event will primarily focus on the ongoing controversy of daily fantasy sports and its influence on sports law. Additional topics will include a continuing look at player health and safety, and changes in the NCAA legal and business landscape.

Prior to the event start, the Moorad Center will host a special session entitled “Getting into the Agent Business.” Jerrold Colton, an NFL and NHL agent whose client roster includes David Akers and Jahri Evans, and Ed Wasielewski ’95 CLAS, a certified NFL agent whose roster includes Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Cody Latimer, lead a revealing discussion about the business and how to launch your career. This session, geared for law students, will be held from 8:15-9 a.m. in the Law School (Rm 102).
