Creative Artists Agency has added a new agent to their already prestigious coaching division by snagging Kansas State associate athletic director Clint Dowdle. The 33-year-old Memphis native will work on finding young, upcoming football and basketball coaches to bring to the agency.
Dowdle started as a basketball star with a business management degree at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee, before accepting a graduate assistant position with the University of Tennessee football team to earn his master’s in sport management. He then became the Director of Football Operations at Bowling Green before settling down at Kansas State.
Dowdle will join the likes of Trace Armstrong, Jimmy Sexton, and Bret Just in the coaching division at CAA. The agency already represents elite coaching talents in multiple sports, such as Alabama football’s Nick Saban, Indiana basketball’s Tom Crean, and the Green Bay Packers’ Mike McCarthy.
Former Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill has replaced Dowdle as the associate athletic director in Kansas State’s athletic department.
According to their website, “Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is the world’s leading entertainment and sports agency, representing many of the most successful professionals working in film, television, music, video games, theatre, fashion, and digital content, and provides a range of strategic marketing and consulting services to corporate clients.”
