Ballengee Group Has Big Start To MLB Draft

Sports agency Ballengee Group had a very impressive start to the 2016 MLB Draft, with its advisees comprising 20% of the top 15 picks in the first round. In true Ballengee style, the company preferred to not break down its clients by advisor, but instead provide a list for the company as a whole.

Of note, Ballengee is made up of twelve MLBPA certified agents, many of whom have had long, successful careers at other companies prior to joining forces at Ballengee.

Here’s the Ballengee clients selected in the first 100 picks of the 2016 MLB Draft:

12th pick – Jason Groome (Barnegat HS) – Red Sox

14th pick – Will Benson (Westminster Schools) –  Indians

15th pick – Alex Kirilloff (Plum Senior HS) – Twins

66th pick – Bo Bichette (Lakewood HS) – Blue Jays

87th pick – Bryson Brigman (University of San Diego) – Mariners

95th pick – Heath Quinn (Samford University) – Giants

97th pick – Jake Rogers (Tulane) – Astros
