Per a Tweet by Liz Mullen and various Tweets by the agents, West Virginia University RB Rushel Shell and DL Noble Nwachukwu have signed with Verus Managment Team, where they will be represented by agents Vince Calo and Miles Welo.
The 5’10”, 225 pound Shell started his collegiate career at Pitt in 2012, where he rushed for 641 yards and four touchdowns as a true freshman. He transferred to WVU in 2013 when he redshirted his first year due to NCAA transfer legislation. During his three years in Morgantown, he played 34 games, rushing for 2010 yards, and 20 TD. He also hauled in 48 receptions for 335 yards. He looks to have the same success as former WVU running back, and current Verus client Wendell Smallwood has had with the Philadelphia Eagles after being drafted in the 5th round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Nwachukwu, a 6’2″, 275 pound defensive lineman leaves Morgantown after playing in 46 games, amassing 90 total tackles, including 29.5 for a loss. A 2015 and 2016 All-Big 12 Honorable Mention (coaches), he is rated as the 18th defensive end by NFL Draft Scout and 26th by CBS Sports. He was recently invited to the NFL Draft Combine.
