Glushon Sports Management Signs Greivis Vasquez And David Nwaba

Per Liz Mullen, Glushon Sports Management has added two NBA players to its client roster – free-agent guard Greivis Vásquez and Los Angeles Lakers guard David Nwaba.

Vásquez was previously represented by Octagon. The seventh year guard, was drafted 28th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2010 NBA Draft out of Maryland. He has bounced around the league, playing for the Grizzlies, New Orleans Hornets, Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks, and most recently, the Brooklyn Nets. A high school teammate of Kevin Durant, Vásquez grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and went on to have a very successful career at Maryland where he finished second on the all-time points scored list with 2,171. He was waived by the Nets in November after having surgery to remove bone spurs from his knee. As teams look to finalize their rosters before the playoffs (or for a playoff run), he hopes to sign on with a team and get back into the league.

David Nwaba is an undrafted rookie with the Lakers out of Cal Poly. The Los Angeles-native has primarily played for the Los Angeles D-Fenders (Lakers D-League affiliate), but signed a 10-day contract to join the NBA squad in late February. After signing a second 10-day contract, Lakers brass is soon facing a decision on his future with the team. In 10 games, he averaged 3.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. It was reported that Luke Walton will talk with new general manager Rob Pelinka and Magic Johnson about how they plan to proceed with Nwaba. Prior to joining Glushon, Nwaba was without representation.

Jason Glushon will be representing both players, who join a client roster of Xavier Henry, Jrue Holiday, Justin Holiday and Al Horford.
