Per a press release from Berk Communications, earlier this week, Roc Nation Sports announced the signing of Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Shelby Miller.
A first round draft pick of the Cardinals in 2009 after a standout prep career at Brownwood High School in Texas, Miller began his career as the Cardinals minor league pitcher of the year in both 2010 and 2011. In 2013, Miller finished third in the National League Rookie of the Year voting. He posted a 26-18 record and a 3.33 ERA in St. Louis from 2012-2014 before being traded to the Braves.
Miller was elected to the 2015 MLB All Star Game when he led the Braves in ERA, innings pitched and strikeouts. Following the 2015 season, Miller was traded to the Diamondbacks.
Miller will join Roc Nation Sports baseball roster which includes Yoenis Cespedes, Rusney Castillo, and Robinson Cano.
