Current Philadelphia 76ers guard and soon-to-be unrestricted free agent Alec Burks has switched agents from You First Sports to Octagon Basketball. Octagon Basketball represents NBA stars such as Bam Adebayo, Stephen Curry, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The 29-year-old Burks now has the option to choose where he will continue his basketball career. Burks has bounced around the NBA since being drafted 12th overall by the Utah Jazz in 2011. After stints with the Jazz, Cavaliers, Kings, and Warriors, Burks landed on the Philadelphia 76ers before the 2020 NBA trade deadline. In 18 regular season games with the 76ers, Burks averaged 12.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. The 76ers reached the 2020 NBA playoffs but got eliminated by the Boston Celtics in the first round. However, Burks put up an average of 10.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
