ISA Sports and Entertainment has added a new client to their roster: Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams. He will be represented by Bardia Ghahremani for on-the-field representation. Williams was previously signed with Chris Cabott of Steinberg Sports & Entertainment before switching agents. Williams will be joining Giovani Bernard, BJ Goodson, among other NFL clients at ISA.
The 6’0”, 213 pound runningback is heading into possible free agency this off-season. Williams is from Fontana California where he attended Summit High School. After high school, he committed to Brigham Young University to play football. During his time at Brigham Young University, Williams was named Independent Freshman of the Year by College Sports Madness. He was named to the FBS All-Independent Team, Maxwell Award Watch List, three-time Doak Walker Award Watch List nominee, and SI’s Midseason All-America Second Team. Williams became the all-time career rushing leader at Brigham Young, and tied a school record with five touchdowns.
After finishing his college career, Williams was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round with the 134th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. In his NFL debut, he had two rushes for nine yards over the Seattle Seahawks. He scored his first career rushing touchdown in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. Overall, he finished his rookie season with 556 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 25 receptions, 262 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. The following season, Williams recorded 464 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns, and 27 receptions for 210 yards. His 2019 season, Williams recorded 460 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown, as well as 39 receptions for 253 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns.
This most recent season, Williams has been highly praised by his teammates and coaches. He finished the season with 505 rushing yards, which is the most since his rookie season. He also recorded a career-high 95 receiving yards. Williams and the Green Bay Packers made it all the way to the NFC Title Game before losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Williams could become a free agent as of next month.
