Wasserman Finalizes 2021 NFL Draft Class

Roughly one month before the 2021 NFL Draft gets underway, Wasserman has solidified its group of 11 draft prospects, per a release from the company.  The 11 prospects will be represented by Doug Hendrickson, Chafie Fields, CJ Laboy, Mike Swenson, and Richard Irvin. 

RB Najee Harris, Alabama

• 2020 accolades include: Doak Walker winner (best RB in the country), unanimous All-American, and SEC Championship MVP. 
• A multi-dimensional back, accumulated over 1,400 yards on the ground and over 400 yards as a receiver. Also caught 43 passes for 425 yards and four touchdowns. Led the FBS in missed tackles and rush touchdowns (26) in 2020. 
• Mocked to the Pittsburgh Steelers at pick no. 24 in Todd McShay’s latest mock draft ($) and mock to the Buffalo Bills at pick no. 30 in Mel Kiper’s latest mock draft ($).

DT Levi Onwuzurike, Washington

WR Rondale Moore, Purdue 

• His freshman year was his best collegiate year by far — 114 receptions, 1,258 yards, and 12 touchdowns. 
• Did not have a touchdown reception and only averaged 7.7 yards per catch in 2020, but still caught 35 passes for 270 yards in three games. 
• Turned in a very impressive pro day — 4.29 40-yard dash, 42.5 vertical leap, and 24 reps on the bench (225 lbs). 
• Mocked to the Detroit Lions at pick no. 72 (third round) in NFL.com’s latest mock draft.

DB Elijah Molden, Washington

TE Brevin Jordan, Miami (FL)

• In Miami’s bowl game, a 37-34 loss against Oklahoma State, had 8 receptions for 96 yards and two touchdowns. In the final regular season game against North Carolina, had 6 receptions for 140 yards and one touchdown. 
• 7 touchdowns in 2020, a career high, including four scores over the last three games. 
• Dad, Darrell Jordan, was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 1990.

WR Amari Rodgers, Clemson 

• 2020 was a career year in receptions (77), yards (1,020), and touchdowns (7). 
• All-ACC honoree in 2020. 
• Primarily a slot receiver, totaled 917 yards from the slot in 2020, “most among all power five players in the draft class.” In addition, third in receiving yards after the catch (613) in 2020, per Pro Football Focus. 
• 24 reps on the bench (225 lbs) at his pro day. 
• Told former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall in an interview earlier this month that his dream scenario would be for the Packers to select him in the second round. 
• Mocked to the Seattle Seahawks at pick no. 129 (fourth round) in NFL.com’s latest mock draft.

WR D’Wayne Eskridge, Western Michigan

• Had a career year in 2020 in terms of receiving yards (784) and touchdowns (8), despite a six-game schedule.
• Recorded at least a touchdown in every game except one (versus Northern Illinois) and totaled at least 100 receiving yards in every game except one (versus Eastern Michigan). 
• Did not disappoint at Western Michigan’s Pro Day, per Pro Football Network: 1.50 10-yard split, 6.93 three-cone, 10’4” broad jump, 35-inch vertical, and as low as a 4.35 40-yard time. 
• Mocked to the Jacksonville Jaguars at pick no. 106 (fourth round) in NFL.com’s latest mock draft.

RB/WR/KR Demetric Felton, UCLA 

• Best way to describe him would be a swiss army knife, as he was involved in the run game, pass game, and return game in 2020. 
• Averaged 5.1 yards/carry in 2020 in six games (132 carries for 668 yards), to go along with 8 total touchdowns (5 rushing, 3 receiving). 
• Accumulated at least 100 rush yards in three games last year, including 206 yards in a 27-10 victory over Arizona. 
• Was much more involved in the passing game in 2019 compared to 2020 — 55 catches for 594 yards in 2019 versus 22 catches for 159 yards in 2020. 
• Mocked to the New England Patriots at pick no. 120 (fourth round) in NFL.com’s latest mock draft.

DT Marlon Tuipulotu, USC 

• First-team All-Pac 12 honoree in 2020. 
• Three-year starter. 
• 8.5 career sacks, including 4.5 in 2018. 

Edge Ade Ogundeji, Notre Dame 

• Honorable mention All-ACC selection and team captain in 2020. 
• Led the team in sacks (6.5) in 2020. 
• Jim Nagy, the Executive Director of the Senior Bowl, spoke highly of Ogundeji to Sports Illustrated’s Fansided writer Matt Lomarbo as did an NFC personnel executive. “He’s a good defensive end. … Can he be great? We’ll see.”

WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette, Iowa 

• Best game of the 2020 season was against Wisconsin, recording seven receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns. 
• In 2019, totaled 722 receiving yards for five touchdowns.
